You'll get $10/day anywhere they'll take your badge, which includes any Starbucks in the hospital (it may not sound like much but $10 at hospital prices goes a long way)
Does Riverside have any focus on ultrasound in their cirriculum?
With multiple fellowship trained physicians on staff, ultrasound is an integrated part of our curriculum and is heavily featured in the residents and the medical students education and training. As an auditioning student you'll be expected to obtain ultrasound images on your patients whenever it is appropriate
I keep hearing about Simulation Centers as an important part of training. Do you have access to one at Riverside?
We have a brand new multi-million dollar simulation center, run by an EM physician who specializes in simulation education. This even includes a room that is identical to our trauma bays for practicing anything and everything that could roll through the door. You can find pictures HERE
