About Our Residency Program

Here at Riverside Emergency Medicine Residency we are trained to care for others as we would care for those we love. We are a community program in a level 2 trauma hospital with a 42 bed emergency room and a volume of about 80,000 visits per year.  Founded in 2020, our Emergency Medicine Residency is located in Newport News and has been in the making for decades. We’re extremely proud of our residents and staff, who are always eager to learn, create and grow together.
